The Redferns played in a tournament on Saturday in Wombwell and got to the final!

Creation Twist Blue
Here’s one of our recent projects featuring a carpet stair runner with whipped edging. The whipped edging is a neat, stitched finish along the sides of the runner that stops the carpet from fraying and gives it a clean, polished look. It’s a simple detail that makes a big difference, adding durability while keeping the design looking sharp. This runner not only adds style and warmth to the stairs but also makes them safer by reducing slips and noise.
These are available in multiple colours patterns, colours and textures/pile type.

Whipped Edging
Stairs Landing with Taped Edging
Taped edging, which can also be known binding, on a stair carpet runner is a 'finishing technique'.
​
A decorative fabric strip is sewn onto the 'length' edges of the runner to avoid fraying and provide a sleek and sophisticated look. The border, often made of cotton tape, can come in various colors, patterns (like herringbone or stripes), and widths, and it can be matched or contrasted with the runner's design for a custom appearance.
